When we meet
We meet every second Tuesday in the month at Bradwall Village Hall, a short distance away, where we enjoy a wide selection of excellent guest speakers.
Visitors from other Probus Clubs and potential members are most welcome - please contact our Secretary in the first instance.
Our December meeting is replaced with our very successful Annual Christmas Lunch held in a nearby hotel.
Activities
Activities form a major part in the life of our Club and these include lunches which are well supported by members and guests and held at different venues on a regular basis throughout the year.
Winter activities
During the winter months many members join the indoor bowling section which meets each week at Haslington, a local village. In addition to this we also visit the Shrewsbury Indoor Bowling Centre for special days out.
Activities March to October
From March until October the outdoor crown green bowling section meets twice weekly at the excellent Marriott House bowling green in the town with matches and competitions organised against other clubs including local Probus Clubs throughout the season. (Further details from our Secretary)
Day excursions
The day excursions which are very popular are organised through the year to many varied destinations and are well supported by members and guests. Visits include factories, museums and places of interest in the North and Midlands.

A walking section has recently been established with members and guests enjoying different walks and trails and these are usually followed by lunch in a local hostelry.
