We are situated in the attractive and vibrant market town of Sandbach in the heart of South Cheshire.

Our Club was formed in 1980 with the support of The Rotary Club of Sandbach and today enjoys a membership of well over 50 members.

News: August 2016

The members were informed that John Brown, a former member had passed away on August 1st. A minutes silence was held in his remembrance.

Unfortunately, the scheduled speaker for the meeting had apologised for being unable to attend due to a family bereavement. Former President Keith Towns stepped up to the plate with a 50 question quiz. Quite a brain teaser.

The bowling group’s singles final has been won this year by Paul Plant with the doubles yet to be finalised. To date the club has played six competitive games of which three were won. The club also secured a win for the David Lea Challenge Cup that was proudly displayed to the members.

On August 18th, a number of club members enjoyed the annual outing to Byley Farm for a hearty 3 course farmhouse lunch.

Joe Wilson gave a most informative talk on Stage three of the forthcoming Cycle Race of Britain that would start in Congleton on September 6th and wind its way through the major East and West Cheshire towns and villages to the finishing line later in the day in Tatton Park.

More than 100 riders together with a cavalcade of supporting cars and endless police motorcyclists were expected to pass through Sandbach at around midday.
