We are situated in the attractive and vibrant market town of Sandbach in the heart of South Cheshire.

Our Club was formed in 1980 with the support of The Rotary Club of Sandbach and today enjoys a membership of well over 50 members.

News: February 2018

The President welcomed the new Treasurer Harry Gascoigne who has replace Max Higgs who has been forced to retire due to ill health. The President thanked Max for his loyal service and hard work on behalf of the Club.

A minutes silence was held in memory of Dan Nicholls, a long term member of the Club who passed away in January.

A new member, Clive Rotherham was welcomed to the Club. Clive has a long history of army and civic life.

Graham Hannen announced that the first day trip of 2018 would be in April to the Museum of Carpets.

This month’s speaker was Tony Bostock whose topic was Cheshire Pubs and Pub Signs. The first part of the talk dealt with the origin of pubs and pub signs going back centuries and their respective historical association with events of the time. He then went on to identify many of Cheshire’s most famous pubs and their history.
