We are situated in the attractive and vibrant market town of Sandbach in the heart of South Cheshire.

Our Club was formed in 1980 with the support of The Rotary Club of Sandbach and today enjoys a membership of well over 50 members.

News: March 2018

A minutes silence was held in memory of yet another former member, Richard MacMillan who passed away aged 101 and that of the son of our fellow member, Ray Lowe.

This month’s meeting is the last general meeting to be chaired by David Slack as President. He will hand over to a new President Ken Jones at the AGM to be held in April. The AGM will be followed immediately by a short general meeting and will be rounded off with a hot pot lunch.

This month’s speaker was one John Miller and entitled “The Show Must Go On” and sub- titled “On the road with the BBC”. The talk covered his early days as a BBC producer and his involvement in many well know productions. He followed this with many years as Manager of the BBC Corporate Exhibitions and outside broadcasts. His later career developed with exhibitions for BBC North and with a BBC Partnership based in London.

It was announced that the outdoor bowling commences on the top green in the park on Tuesdays and Friday mornings commencing April 3 rd and that indoor bowling will start again circa 3 rd or 14 th October in the Yoxall Village Hall.
